Professor Kong insulted dogs by making such comparison. This is what happens when allowing those holding UK passport running for public office. The very same people demanding direct election of chief executive today were the first lining up along the streets, singing “God Save The Queen” when her majesty appointed British governors one after another. % |8 D( ~% z/ L# |2 S4 I

niederberger, boy are you ever clueless. Nobody on the street can say with a straight face that they are being repressed. Virtually NOTHING has changed in the lives of every day Hong Kongers since the hand over. Hong Kongers are snobs who think they're better than their brothers on the mainland because they spent all those years rimming out their British masters, and they don't even know it.9 [* U* {5 C; D) r8 I$ u

" N/ }# ~$ _8 i+ b) ZNot long ago, these Hong Kongers despised the mainlanders because the latters were poor. Now they resented the mainlanders because the 'poor cousins' now are richer then them. If the survey has an opion of identifying oneself as the british, I have no doubt that many Hong Kongers will do so even they hated the Brits for not bringing these two-facers with them when the brits handed HK to China.
