Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
2 m! b  ?( }4 M( A0 V1 a1 IReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:9 U# e5 i, S; W& {1 W9 i7 c
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
% d: t5 F% x) n  W3 ?8 g1 X•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.* M$ X5 J6 F3 i5 d& c+ X; l. W: c
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
, r8 F+ r4 A* X•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.! U/ S1 N5 g% i8 L6 L( f
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. ( ~, I) `* ^0 Z( s7 ]+ ]
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates." A" |1 A/ ~7 [4 i
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.1 }. b  B8 L( ~- |& j
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.) _/ x6 i6 a0 w+ y; l
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).7 G1 `  H+ }5 V1 C
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
; |  d+ g! Q, f$ F•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.9 H1 z( D1 q( ]; |1 W
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.9 |; \7 I: e6 H4 Q: f" R1 Q5 W
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager." {/ t- D9 Y8 u9 @' y

Qualifications
2 j2 X, M: n5 k; BRequirements:- m  k4 f* t# ?! z" }3 n( M* O0 b' b
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. 6 }3 i5 G2 C, _. k6 x4 r
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. - M  {8 F3 I! T0 D% \
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. 0 n! C/ H/ ?$ T) D1 j: E
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
/ F; @5 {6 ]0 I1 d8 r& k/ A2 J+ q•        CHRP Designation is an asset.( b) n) G7 |& w- J( x0 N
