Description
6 ~( T0 i0 ?* n! j# ?Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
1 y. P0 R+ }2 G7 z3 fReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:. R3 W6 d" _. s4 L4 y) i+ X
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.# Z1 T% N) M- f8 M
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
- X- G2 i7 D$ _* D- J" D  N•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development." H; i, X5 j- E: h
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
8 A0 p3 ~# n+ G: z* i  [•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
0 s5 d1 P2 H' t6 N* v3 f•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
. e. W5 j- T1 C5 Y•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
& U* h; \0 R  y% I! _0 l6 Z•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
# g( M3 f' L2 q6 ^; N2 C+ _' D7 }•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).8 B7 f4 G/ X2 x+ D1 U
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.4 ?; T2 B3 o+ `% r
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.9 r7 e; H: h5 L  U5 H
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
/ `/ G( {+ Q, V# o1 I•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.1 V  R( d7 Z, x  K; [
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.: S% U8 O+ L% @. w% o" b% X
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

. x+ N# ?8 Z9 k# B; }+ ]6 iRequirements:$ m6 B- ^. D9 G
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. ) q7 }2 O  }" Y$ M/ E! q$ p. \
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. ) P/ \; H; S  ?: @) \: o( y  s5 b
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. 7 S: \2 c) r( h; s' U& `
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.9 h! w/ L) n3 U+ ^
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
