& g. D% U0 E9 U5 k1 iReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
8 ]( r0 d# \: o/ M) d•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
. m# Y( A0 j' T; ~/ K•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
/ B) c$ e& v! `! G•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.& i1 x' l2 d( O' T! p! u- [, ]
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
+ Z$ p  l- H6 w* g•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
) X' n8 e2 k$ K, `8 J•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
' K& [4 s: m2 x5 R3 b* n•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
; b' s! u: a9 ?! ]& Q- C, c•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
9 F/ J1 L) ]) V•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
/ `6 Y, X( z: X% n" D& k6 M* I9 R•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.  v4 A8 h# ^/ Q% Q. d$ l7 b% Y
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
: K  G' M# c5 a. y" c•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
( ~, z$ f( i$ m  a•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs./ I; s, M' r' }4 l' a. c& F
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.$ w, }. |$ _: `
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Requirements:5 x5 ]; A9 i2 S9 Y5 R. W" F
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
& W+ J) Y  f( U( n! B6 G& V•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
$ D/ S! x% O; u7 b$ g•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
0 J* _; s. {  c- j+ P' _•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.3 c+ D" x: w( w' ~) V. r
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.( b! B6 I7 L; ]1 g5 |# s: P
