Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
) r& S- _# J( ]6 s) ~Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
! Q9 u6 U5 I+ s: Z8 r# z•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
, Q4 R" |$ u' g4 p1 b8 g: O•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
6 M  c; M& l) ^6 j, g; `4 J•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
5 t5 Z# p4 p; ]4 @3 X. ~+ I•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.  ?( S9 G( Y) n& C2 f6 h
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
* s6 l' Y- o- A: ?0 \•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates./ S/ w! d6 d! ?$ F
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
, d2 X& x* D. G- h•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.+ F, [4 t. K- y! ~% c8 p9 y0 |
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
- @6 m/ r# ^7 q. Z•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
/ Z" D/ B7 ^' T# x! w1 b•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures." x, V# a1 @' T% i  P0 C
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.. m& V1 F) r" X$ ?0 \. y8 {
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
; L. s8 ]; T8 j•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
9 Y, H4 f6 i/ W% X% u* r•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager./ r3 x* r  m9 e: p" y

Qualifications
' g" Z) Y2 H" _3 c" N+ }Requirements:& S% t" m& a, b1 M
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. $ F4 y6 X2 k( I4 ~; o
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
9 u" \2 U0 b+ b9 F  J$ {•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
% U- p1 k) B  _•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
- S. a& o  p4 K  _' v1 u•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
