Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
. D& @9 P# a) ^! OReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
1 q: z! l) q( Z( k( j• Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
5 q8 K* G, b I; X( K. @• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
]( L, [4 V0 i- d) m$ M• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
. |0 j4 K7 W( p, o8 d0 X* @• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
0 ^$ r9 ~) ]. r/ g1 d• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
& X f g+ q& z: d; b* I. h• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
, e1 I2 N4 H* c; E• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
, s) z1 h: x4 h3 Q# y• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.& N1 U0 \4 g+ C) ?# \& T$ ]
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).+ w: u% h J3 G& T6 X
• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.: }% g" e: S. K5 j, D: p
• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures., E; }2 C0 @+ t* a
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings.' Y5 P: B. @9 s0 d- _
• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

• Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
( n/ R) W; f% U' a, s/ WRequirements:$ H9 Q( ?) r. X# q, u
• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
B4 v$ |7 Z- c) K. t) W" g• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. 7 S9 L$ p$ H" D- V/ S7 q
• Strong Union Relations experience required. ?$ l: A% u* z- p+ F* a
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
