D2 N2 L) Q1 x- V9 @Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person6 y: S3 \2 x8 c) K# q3 v k, u
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
7 p; ~$ [7 E |% a( O• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
# o) M# I% M, n* o2 x* \) j( P% J• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter" }( w& z, E( Z% Z' M( i" f
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents2 P( |8 @/ g) g, Y$ q
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker4 n9 u/ _' h& y( b
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events' x) P; q- ~9 Z3 M6 o- S1 R" l
• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

b) P, g! h; ^2 R• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person/ \4 u9 M' {$ W* x) y# w% g G" `
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
* V! \3 |' x4 R* t7 B- n" S• Good English writing and oral communication skills. E7 S( A/ A: N/ t, `
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients

7 C' J6 {7 a Y8 o* @ b6 s, X• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
- K) r' o& l& N, J @+ W• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment% X ~9 G# C4 O
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism$ Z( q, D1 ^* I/ C) M, d
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
