Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week

Main duties:
) j8 C$ @, _/ A7 x8 s1 s; Q1 _2 j•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
3 @* K7 ~" h: B3 |8 I•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
# N# }1 f( ?3 U4 J! I/ {: U•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
3 I4 {# b) E+ a: H3 s•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
/ k- T; n) V) a0 k( |6 ?* v! C•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
+ d5 I) ]$ A5 _•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

1 t# r% x* }' g) H. oJob Requirements:
, q+ `4 W5 G3 f. n•        Completion of secondary education is required
•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
0 W# e, T: g7 `. ?; a2 i4 w1 }•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
. P6 P8 c+ W8 A. X•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
