Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Location:         11190 Ellerslie Road, Edmonton, AB, T6W 1A2
8 T' p% E4 H2 ~. w$ J' H3 j  [Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week
Shifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

Main duties:
•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
8 u. w3 q# V" _# v; I: M- {•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
: r, B) g6 Y2 B& C•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
  J4 B9 P# s; |- H•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
6 F! l! c) L% E( z1 n•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
) M: a1 W7 T8 O$ J) M, L2 Y•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

Job Requirements:
/ z, L1 \. R) I+ b& G. R•        Completion of secondary education is required
•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
$ {9 i- V# Y' B+ C; C7 T1 Z5 Q•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
