Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Location:         11190 Ellerslie Road, Edmonton, AB, T6W 1A2
Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week

Main duties:
) _$ S/ h; j& e. N•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
2 t$ N# x6 s! q4 y•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
  f% h2 V% `4 }8 Q' n# l7 p•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
4 X- l# b& o: y•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

•        Completion of secondary education is required
/ s- a2 B4 Y, N" T0 S9 @•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
: ~( X) M& D" ^( n& z% b+ P•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
1 s3 a8 w2 y* R& u4 Q* n•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
