Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Main duties:
•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
! h2 ^  q: J! u•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
- c- ~+ d/ Y( }" z•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
( O3 J. P) D( N, f& R•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
# e: J$ X- M! @! ]•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  P9 m, T4 m  I2 M8 O6 a9 w•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

; x# A# Y, c9 H$ l8 F' }2 {5 \•        Completion of secondary education is required
•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
9 C! M' }. v; I# x* X8 d# z9 d, k& I3 z•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
