- recruiting, performing security and reference checks, providing orientation, supervising, referring and placing volunteers8 ^* s0 q- A, }6 e4 q8 a
- train volunteers for ISP and provide duties; [+ U% k T6 Q: L. [# ]
- train volunteers for Centre and provide duties9 {' ]& K/ O8 ~, K6 i- j
- provide volunteers for various programs

- planning and coordinating Volunteer Appreciation

- promoting volunteerism through various media including the 3 main Chinese newspapers, Chinese radio station and the Chinese television, Fairchild TV, brochures, pamphlets, booth displays, special events

- planning and implementing training sessions for volunteers ! A5 }7 h0 A Z! x
- planning and implementing training sessions for staff that work with volunteers : u. q: W5 O- h9 q: c
- consulting and reporting to the Advisory Committee on a regular basis

Qualifications$ p. G3 S8 _- W. @3 c4 B
- degree or diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or related experience and education
! s& }0 i9 I: |; j1 ~0 |- t" r" O- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
7 [# y9 z( s7 M' C* T0 \1 {# S- experience in volunteer coordinating and immigrant services

- management and supervision skills" V5 z' L& h; X/ E6 R
