Usually I will see the rate at xe.com as a base. The small company will add 5 or 6 cents to the base, which 2 or 3 cents higher than that in the bank's rate in China. It seems better but how about 200 RMB plus 15 Canadian dollar each transfer fee( in Canada). How about the time you wait at the bank in China( at least two hours each time) ? Our old parents also have trouble in writing in English about transit, bank address, and so on. To my knowledge it is not so much different, but much convenient to us to do all exchange online if you are familiar with the system and you are still a Chinese citizen who has 50000 us dolllars limit to send out each year. By the way the cash is not same as HUI, Only hui can be sent out in China. Appreciat we share our experience on the issue.
