Please be on the lookout for a male dressed in black, wearing a balaclava and possible reflective glasses, flashing a weapon (possibly a handgun), along bike trails and footpaths in and around the Riverbend Neighbourhoods. Call police immediately if you observe this person.

There have been two incidents as noted below:

The first incident was on Friday June 22 just prior to 4:00 in the afternoon. A male dressed all in black and wearing a black or dark blue ski mask and reflective glasses was observed walking in the area of the Snow Valley parking lot. The male appeared to be carrying a handgun which he tucked into his waistband when he was seen by a group of 5 people who were cycling in the area. The male did not point the weapon at the cyclists and the male was last seen running EB towards 119 Street.# v' Y3 ~: D) o, y/ |6 A

V8 L3 t2 ~' ^The second incident occurred on Saturday June 23 just after 7:00 in the evening on the footbridge over Terwillegar Drive (just north of 23 Avenue) As noted in the e-mail below, the male was dressed all in black, and was wearing a balaclava. He flashed what appeared to be a handgun at an adult and their child and then he continued running WB towards the St Thomas More Church.

In both cases the male was described as being around 5'8 to 5'10. The balaclava which was worn in both cases covered the face and head of the male. Given the circumstances, it is reasonable to believe that the two incidents are related.' @$ N- ?+ J% p/ G$ {2 V* H

Police are very concerned about these incidents. We are asking that people using footpaths in the Riverbend area use extra caution and they should not approach this male if he is encountered. Police should be contacted right away if they observe the male.+ q1 d- u4 G3 v8 d0 R6 b$ _# e+ {+ u

, X: R" m: `& Z |今早新闻好像说这根家伙已经被抓住了，再terwillergar recreation centre 抓住这根Sb 的，已经确认是个玩具手枪，周日去游泳就看到经常再那里晃悠，这SB给警察们带来不少困扰。估计又一想出名的精神病警报解除了。不过大家还是提高警惕点好。最近很多时间让很多人异想天开，痴心妄想，想出名想疯了。另外哪个鸟人给我一个倒猪手，我怎么看不出来呀，你能不能评分的时候通知作者呀，用暗枪算什么东西。有什么不满提出来，再背后鼓捣算个神马东西。
