Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

8 t2 ~% J+ x( @' ^# x/ D# E9 n9 h• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
0 E4 V& @# ?% V• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST& l/ h, Q3 d9 O @7 L( @3 c
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately7 ]& T& @+ k/ h& z( x$ S
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter5 W3 n+ u# @7 _% [% Z, s% T
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
4 Q6 H* D0 l* a& A) W: e# B• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events
( D* L2 Z, P' W* Q G• Keep the reception area tidy and clean+ {* e/ }. u% M8 O
• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters8 @) k# V& j( I' B* C
• Maintain front counter service files

/ Z% P9 F9 r! v7 K3 X% ^0 B• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person7 F K: ~2 n6 Z8 ^- n1 d1 S7 L
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset$ T8 Z& T ^+ d" k, K% z* S# J
• Good English writing and oral communication skills
, z' |1 {& v2 V& \• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
: ]% Q6 o3 ? t; T• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook8 j" M8 I) f) g" G. i$ i5 |9 W
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

Qualifications:
* u) J, n9 w& w8 X% M• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience ) x( g& u2 x9 @: y
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
# Y3 L* @- n$ _8 N• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
