Responsibilities

/ z( }( ~7 Y: j·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear

·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

·         Reviewing vendor drawings

·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

·         Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project and the company.

6 O' R0 P$ l: L7 j( N8 e& U2 s; g·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

* d5 ]$ }  ~. J·         Attention to detail is a must

·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

7 D2 g  c- [! ?$ @8 ]·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

3 `6 ~7 x5 |0 f( k) Z2 ^·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

* @: r% G+ c  P) p/ K1 u" ?; r·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously

·         Strong interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

·         Possess a Class 5 driver’s license

Work Conditions
