Responsibilities

/ R$ \6 `7 d# [$ f: V·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear
4 D) t7 X$ z  D. n8 S
( n* I, K4 l  w8 q) K5 M·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings
! p4 N! B3 O* t4 p/ v- f
·         Reviewing vendor drawings
& {" C" R" Z, {. a3 r! n
·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

·         Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project and the company.

# E  g1 q. T) t, C5 l8 g' W
·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training
6 T8 b; h3 W- S8 l- w5 K; {% i, w
·         Attention to detail is a must
6 {9 G0 P1 L4 G5 T
·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously

Work Conditions

Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.
