关于驾照说法很多,一直难找到详尽确认,也有朋友提醒游客身份可否申请当地驾照。不得已给本省政府某部门写信,得到回复粗略如下:% O( ]4 O0 H. Q. R

1、持非本省驾照,可获许在本省驾驶同级或同类车辆,有效期90天。6 h! c$ f. ?, |
2、持国际驾照,可在本地使用连续12个月或原发驾照有效期止。(我理解,即使国际驾照/许可有效,原驾照过期也不行。)" G7 ] f5 y* Y6 k4 O
3、因阿省与中国无某种协约,所以中国游客申领本省驾照必须通过考核。
% m9 N$ i+ U( s$ l# Y( ^4、持非本省驾照并开始定居于此,需90天内申办本省驾照。
* B1 ^6 `+ w+ x5、颁自其它国家的有效驾照头90天可获认可,但期间必须申领本省驾照,并在90天截至前将原驾照上交。(这个90天该是等同前面的入境始90天吧。): s+ Q- Z0 ~! n- _! s/ Q) ?5 z9 R
6、获本省驾照,本人须亲自前往注册代理处。如年龄达75岁或本人医疗史证明有必要,本人将接受体检和视力检测。(vision screening,配镜?); ^8 b% b2 \4 P# n- O* }

8、可证明居住的文件有:租房协议、雇主信、个人税单、有本人姓名和本地住址的水气电话单等。外国人需出示签证。

, M, F3 |9 x& h& {关于国际驾照,也大致说两句。因想省事,曾考虑在国内办国际驾照。后了解到,中国并未加入 Convention on International Road Traffic 这么个协定,所以在大陆是没办法真正申领的。香港由于特殊背景可以申领,不过听说只广东驾照可委托中介在香港申领港照后再进而申领国际驾照。也是经过这个打问过程才知道国际驾照要和原驾照同时使用出示的。不知这些情况确切否。
