2 Q. e4 y# s( m. `% a7 qCompensation:  Journeyman 1 Automotive Mechanic (or 4th year Apprentices)
Your Choice of Hourly or Flat Rate (Salary under review, Rates based on experience.)
* S5 e  r; _$ ]$ n3 kHours of Work:  This position works 44 hours per week.
Days of work are Monday through Friday, Saturday rotation.
Group benefits package starts after 3 months.


! J8 f: g; j: o3 [7 c5 ?5 PFull-time journeyman to maintain and repair an assortment of vehicles with emphasis placed on preventative maintenance.  

Responsibilities include:

& A- i% P% R4 _' B+ iDiagnose problems and perform all types of repairs to a wide variety of speciality vehicles
3 F; K2 Z9 b& P. p- W+ GRequisition parts and materials, as required.
6 _9 L/ L/ a2 q+ X$ a$ M/ iCreate and complete work orders, gather fleet information and input data into the computerized management system.
Provide specialized training and guidance to apprentice(s).
; n# s. N0 W9 z; ~8 y/ VAccess technical information using Snap-on Shop Key on-line automotive support program and communicate using e-mail.
! j; }' d% h7 f# t4 q/ e& l/ t2 VOther assigned duties.

Qualifications:

+ r& i4 _% v, n& \5 RApplicants must possess a valid Journeyman Automotive Mechanic certificate or equivalent recognized by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.
( `9 B( D' O2 i2 zApplicants also must have a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent).
) N. _5 N3 N8 ?4 u% _' ZPreference will be given to those who have current experience diagnosing and repairing North American and/or foreign vehicles.

Only education obtained from an accredited institution will be recognized as meeting the minimum qualifications.
