从家里水龙头出来的温水能用来煮东西的吗?

我知道从水龙头出来的冷水可直接饮用.但是从家里水龙头出来的温水能用来煮东西的吗? 温水是不是滞留在锅炉里太久了?
知道的话请给个依据.

Beside，furnace hot water coil is made of metal. Some of it will come into the hot water.
