Do I need PR card to leave Canada?

Please help if anyone knows the answer.
I've landed on Nov 29, and still waiting for the official PR card mailed to me. I want to fly to China and spend Chinese spring festival with parents.

Can I travel without the PR card? (My bf can mail it to me later once he gets it, then I can re-entry Canada. )

Sure, you can leave without PR Card....you can get it before entering
