Job Description:
# @2 F$ a$ I% [( F: k* o4 `) tTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.( I( P" I. u, d/ f) w

7 `0 F- A/ t0 B7 O1 q• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.7 v6 _) x5 I- o. M2 V
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;4 M* t) L0 T- }! \& f/ }
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;; V- `% ?+ `6 F
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;. r5 o) {& w; U6 Y/ n
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.9 e. Z/ t) ~! E- X- ]7 k' X( R7 |
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
% o2 c5 f0 X# r2 w/ D• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;7 w5 e* O3 G3 V5 e# m2 N/ `; {
• Participate in trade shows;+ m. c+ l. M: a+ u
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;4 t  D/ t1 e! K8 J& U2 V
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;

• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;( G7 I. _. r8 N8 j+ F

Requirements:
. S* H: j' Y  b) s" z3 b•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
% ~' ]/ t: Z; {# g• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;9 _" P+ D4 T2 P9 l& |0 A! j# S
• Ability to lead and develop;
( }9 Q$ Q' |$ j2 j• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;' h. `6 O! g9 S" q0 x8 H
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
9 E% U1 Z% C4 o+ Y' C+ I• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;3 R9 f8 ]  e- s( X" L
• Ability to work within deadlines;2 T" U+ y1 |# ^) H! h* A' n9 e5 M

• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
