Job Description:
* P/ C4 X0 L# G( @# L; ZTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy., ^6 P+ l1 p# n& i+ ~/ S$ f

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.5 h: X1 n) O! @
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
' @! J" e6 I* B# s) J$ D• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
/ F5 r/ e9 T( L! [- s• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
) ?6 y+ C" j5 `# {• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.6 @% x/ I# g0 {* `
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;

• Participate in trade shows;

Requirements:
$ i9 |, \- D5 ^•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property+ Z% \. {$ ^+ ^# v
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;1 X3 p, x. `% H# Z% a
• Ability to lead and develop;
2 e6 _8 w" o, @; r9 S& z" k2 l• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
