Job Description:
# @2 F$ a$ I% [( F: k* o4 `) tTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

7 `0 F- A/ t0 B7 O1 q• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
% o2 c5 f0 X# r2 w/ D• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
• Participate in trade shows;
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
6 x! d% f9 O. [5 u" C, K# A' S• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

Requirements:
. S* H: j' Y  b) s" z3 b•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
% ~' ]/ t: Z; {# g• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
• Ability to lead and develop;
( }9 Q$ Q' |$ j2 j• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
9 E% U1 Z% C4 o+ Y' C+ I• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
• Ability to work within deadlines;
• High level of creativity and innovation;
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
