Job Responsibilities
+ `$ M/ Z; a' Z• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues., A5 ]) V1 M+ ^1 M) p
• Oversee hotel security requirements.
' U7 _: I; X! T• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
$ a7 g p; N' C9 `4 G• To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. 0 M s0 N& _# q Y* i
• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
! K) a, R7 Q8 i) N2 G; B; b9 A1 c• To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
5 b J; b# R" G, C4 E• To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.$ T* L: `6 g' v9 [
• Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.9 `% i/ ~- f Z* ~
• Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. ( K0 O" y* T# G- v/ Y/ e
• Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. * V2 t, F" ?5 X+ F( ?
• Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
+ ?6 u6 B+ W, w6 o7 W7 V• Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. ! I% s. g3 c4 |0 b( N
• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.) o4 z* k! v0 W' P* ?
• Attend Cluster meetings.
% q- R( o% x9 P1 o& o+ G• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
& J8 A/ ~/ s; T• Handle PMS computer problems in each department : Q' h1 x' k7 W( n
• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies( e5 V: H+ W* E9 v) L3 D
• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center
' S* `8 q) [ \4 x f• Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float 1 Q: w. } S0 v- [$ g; r
• Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

Requirements:
* c, @- G- O3 ?) F8 J9 ?: _•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property& K3 \3 |- F2 C% U- C
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;- a s. i T$ R, p
• Ability to lead and develop;

• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
