1. To establish the scope of practice for trades.

2. To regulate the practice of trades.# s+ h. m4 c# g

3. To govern the members of the College.5 g B( z+ p% ^; b

4. To develop, establish and maintain qualifications for membership in the College.# n' I) k( @6 P! l
% }3 W% U! ]: |9 n/ ?4 e) A9 O, S5. To issue certificates of qualification and statements of membership to members of the College and renew, amend, suspend, cancel, revoke or reinstate those certificates and statements as appropriate.

6. To promote the practice of trades.

9. To determine appropriate journeyperson to apprentice ratios for trades subject to ratios.

10. To determine whether a trade should have compulsory certification status.

11. To receive and investigate complaints against members of the College and to deal with issues of discipline, misconduct, incompetency and incapacity.
