Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

We are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

6 m3 q9 b9 O& I- ^+ pThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
% r- D4 h3 w+ O. o. k- R Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
1 P! Q, Z6 q9 t9 B Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
( l1 Z) P0 f2 a Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
' D6 d! `; H  w7 x" U5 b& K$ ?' ?3 I Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
; z+ O- \2 q! ?4 d* E1 K# \ Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
' D" B% K0 C1 }0 l Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
 Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
