Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

6 M. d0 b! W& O  z6 q1 G. gWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

0 {6 N) R' ]' M; T+ C$ pThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
+ g( |8 \9 Y1 G+ h1 z( l, v3 Y Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
7 ~; ?0 c; Q" I: d# K Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
; k* T0 e# i( C/ `0 Y" u Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.

- A+ }5 h4 P, V# i; U$ z Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.

7 T2 G1 U* @$ x* T An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
