Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

0 u7 W9 w4 |) k& r4 XWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

9 n3 q* }4 K. o4 {The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
8 y" l% d, l8 g& p8 W# l. k Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
9 c$ n) Y$ ]7 r5 x. G' G/ L: K/ F0 N: P8 \ Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
 Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
 Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
 Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
