' H; T3 u2 U# a* N•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services / [' q- [ P! h& {1 }
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies; d) d5 H6 E, e; |
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
$ C6 R+ t- D, Y+ ~0 Y) s•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects., z2 ?) o: H8 x% t! R
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:3 p$ ?( o, y: B) i- @' k
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;& o, u3 q& K7 x# ^
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
0 v9 Y5 F/ b+ t. L9 N b( x" x8 U•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
* F: n! D" \/ R3 \9 \, r•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential / B3 s: z2 _9 s, M
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
