Key Responsibilities are as follows:7 c, u& S; ~ b
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services # N! i. ^/ n- Y* }4 f. T
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
" R5 ?9 u+ S: s•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting, @; u% T2 ]+ d2 A
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.. Y T. }" ]$ W+ U7 M3 R1 J! j7 f
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
! Z Q4 B' X& @3 C2 o, J( m•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
! A* D) E3 P) D, H" N! V6 S8 |( B•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
" _& a' E- n. ^$ {) W1 S•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential * O5 w, K% n$ [
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
