Key Responsibilities are as follows:
* ~# t4 x& h! [•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
( N0 x, |9 N0 e. w•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies- C. e, u% P* u l- w
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting0 r6 f |' A& z7 ]* G0 a2 K
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.6 _6 h8 o) c: H1 t3 a
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential8 \) d' u$ d; P

Qualifications:* P2 h% K: P2 n5 _. G( T
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;* i7 h2 d& o* i! n! }6 H; K
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
$ O8 W* J0 i/ D6 I/ m1 N. X•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
% i- x7 f9 E) n) w9 g& K+ S•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 3 l: u$ Z6 [1 t0 X1 ?' h t
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
