Position Title: Program Manager (Downtown Office) – Full time position  , ~% \" R8 [9 p" d) F; r/ K

This position reports directly to the District Program Manager: g9 s* r4 i3 G# j- @( X

# r6 i. k( F& U  \6 m2 FKey Responsibilities are as follows:
& B& f* o' P1 z7 t0 O& C" U! }0 L•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
2 i1 k! ?! q6 N! n8 ]•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies

A1 b9 Y  Y•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting9 N4 }3 X* J: c. T1 [
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
7 U* |& l: u& c  s+ \. s•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential
+ w6 \; w5 h8 m1 ?
8 Y' v& ^/ b$ p; z0 G4 BQualifications:
+ f: d$ j# Y4 |4 b•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;8 \9 k. u% l; a1 o5 ^! Q
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;# d' w6 N6 r3 I' D# r& @  }
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;* P' l6 C: Y, l0 c9 b4 A: d* i
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 4 N/ ~7 a0 _1 j0 Z5 A
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory." l5 _0 Q! S. U9 G4 f9 W$ K
