Re-entry visa need to renew? thank you

I got re-entry visa when I was still a student, which is expired till 2014 as student visa.
now I am holding a work permit, do I need to re-apply a new re-entry visa to Canada ? Thank you

I worried about the strike, probably will delay the process, I want to go back to china end of next month~ do you know the process time of visa these days, please let me know, I will appreciate it

Generally speaking, you will have to apply for another entry visa for foreign workers because your legal status in Canada is foreign worker, no longer a student. Think of this, when at the port of entry, the officer questions you "What's your purpose of coming to Canada? " How would you answer?
