Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales% I8 {) ^1 V4 G% q1 [8 b0 N

Key Responsibilities:
! N. c M& Q2 E7 P, U: F
• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales.

• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.0 M: Z# u, d. S

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.# U8 r6 l7 m. ?* i; Y# _

• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 
# L, m% E5 ~1 l. N7 j- H
• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.
+ P8 W/ m6 q* z8 x3 y8 I
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

0 b2 |8 F9 ~. x+ n2 B. X• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.

1 B2 l- X1 M& x" C+ k& F• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.

• Travel within the assigned region.
