Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales2 U/ Q! |9 j& [3 N

• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 

! u: T9 {* z7 Q• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

* h4 {2 T+ k) T* a• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.7 x- L9 q+ t$ D) {6 n: L4 }9 ~+ \

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.7 Y$ N( c7 @9 ]! a

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

Job Qualifications
/ J. J2 o( i4 _+ ~• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 

& R" N$ o2 @# q9 R• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

% E- B* f4 ?$ F3 n• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
& K# W/ D) L' c4 `: Z$ J
• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.
# E- J9 l) q$ y1 Q$ A& \; `+ m
• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.; C6 ^, [7 F* N8 j7 K5 v

• Travel within the assigned region.
+ l8 w; t% D3 @+ |. S/ H
• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
