Position Summary:
/ a; }3 p2 Y; w5 o- T! JTo provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.. [) c. U4 [9 k4 ]

Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals L4 U% B l( X' c5 N5 P/ b
Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
p7 b- H2 Q9 H' |' T2 T Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients* I5 @( H, n! u# N$ e, T( f$ p
Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy# f/ [, K4 q+ w2 R; P
Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
+ q- W9 R0 Z! I, s3 | Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
9 B# r1 c9 v( j, i1 F6 d0 u Actively participate in training initiatives
\7 z& z& m& G2 w% S Participate in community marketing initiatives

% x1 }7 V. b0 S. e5 j( tThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

- l/ l1 U9 {( E S. V2 [1 ?( G High School and or Post Secondary Education+ P2 Y2 ^2 }+ w+ ?; L, f
Previous customer service experience
+ e6 ^# N% ^) {: o( c1 W: s9 i Previous sales experience an asset8 F& a0 _- V& [, W
General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
- P4 q. a* C& l4 V4 m P2 Z Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
2 E7 u& k7 C( w, K! ^0 I8 h Strong analytical and organizational skills
