Position Summary:
5 i6 o$ f4 L( ^( ]3 T8 `To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

- U! V6 ]; A- u2 s  D2 H1 rPrimary Objective/Duties of position:6 e0 ~+ a% i$ t, V
. f( m5 x  b1 s3 [
    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals0 ]8 F+ H# ^7 c
    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
/ I. x* J9 }& [! S    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
2 Z- a4 [; R; m# L8 R3 Z    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
2 X9 y4 }7 w4 d- X' i3 U5 f4 }    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals0 Y# [7 P) Q1 w
    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes1 q& z: G$ f& O- m
    Actively participate in training initiatives- G  N: C2 C# v" u& Z% G) }
    Participate in community marketing initiatives! q4 S- q5 x. Z

6 _3 h! Z* N5 RThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
% Z4 r8 C& {- W: F( n- U& B5 U' ^* I3 p" y
    High School and or Post Secondary Education8 j8 D. W" O- s2 _3 n# T6 O7 h4 W
    Previous customer service experience
& T2 h! O" W8 r! M3 X! f. z    Previous sales experience an asset
9 Y5 N5 \( x  s; \* G    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
5 G  |* @  t& D$ Y( L; \; u    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
$ s/ L# R4 a5 p& q# V    Strong analytical and organizational skills
3 G' B: k5 \& K2 m8 E$ `  V    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
9 Y  k3 P* @. y    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
