To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

Primary Objective/Duties of position:

4 q1 h( [6 o/ L    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
; O- Y6 h- [/ d: O* ?$ F) P7 S& V    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
# X& x# R) I! x! u% O3 f) S$ B& b    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
+ y4 W. L& ]' a6 @0 K    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
4 h$ b9 |& f2 Y    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
* T- a4 J" e, q: D" }* ^2 U% I; }    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
    Actively participate in training initiatives
    Participate in community marketing initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
# V9 n; a) n; r; {
    High School and or Post Secondary Education
; b" a8 A# c- ^% L" i    Previous customer service experience
7 D1 e4 C" g2 ~# [0 c' I+ \: L$ D    Previous sales experience an asset
    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
& J* Q2 K: D: {" z2 a    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
    Strong analytical and organizational skills
, E+ ^( I* L( l+ k1 K    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
