To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.
) ]: A$ k3 j7 e! v# T! J3 s/ F& R- `. d9 }: s$ T4 i Z5 `2 o! t( F
Primary Objective/Duties of position:. g c: o9 `! M% q# U( D5 J
" L4 q- I, H% H( q2 I: `. r Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
$ W0 Y( h; D; N Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business. Z; X$ N/ E/ H
Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients0 g! K5 I& P _! X0 R
Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
- Z8 j4 ^' D/ R; e: E$ f/ T: D) M Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals

Actively participate in training initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:/ D+ u6 C0 f' G, i/ [
; ? n* ]2 O. y P) j+ H" P- \ High School and or Post Secondary Education, B' r6 |; }% y0 _+ B' |7 Y
Previous customer service experience
]/ ]" I: B" D- A Previous sales experience an asset# `' }- e: R1 z) y! s9 Q
General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
3 A( ]) d8 P9 L0 ^$ @+ D Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
