attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit & W* l- K4 [2 e+ G

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
0 u* U: G& N' Va variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday $ L1 d' X; \/ @1 f$ F: q
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in

1 F' ?1 W, k. R, w ~ e0 UYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
( l- P9 W, j u( i* V7 {: }September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 5 ?2 ~: M$ l; K5 X B3 T
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.% {6 r! M& V% y5 m T0 e; S. j" u
5 S' _0 G/ v- GBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
& Q1 M1 O1 `2 q3 `* _to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
6 ?( e: f5 o0 Cyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 0 r. ~( b7 M7 P2 I( |2 T
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process % ~( r; B) y, S. E; x0 T
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
0 Z# k! n8 R( p! l" Y% _* }of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus ) U/ u) i* f% \! r$ M
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic , D7 ]7 R& D0 Y. p/ p: {! F2 m
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
/ ?$ ~3 o/ U0 n# Hbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the : L U* n9 a3 s* R
