Alberta's Orientation program is now confirmed. In addition, we would

attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of 8 s( q+ |+ ?. J
information that will make your transition to the University community

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds , Z6 x, Y2 s( H* }
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

. k6 B5 ~' v) H2 {5 Y' LBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
P$ K1 P! O1 L7 B0 u( i8 Zactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
. b6 ?5 j0 b" v( Q7 V5 W3 |a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday . a+ Q4 \2 w+ P- N* G' y. M
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
5 ~: Z4 e& |3 q9 Z% n. h7 A& zHawrelak Park.% i$ O- V. o B: c4 N- M

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
; L5 j1 o) C) {( oSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
7 I$ O3 X4 s# G% Q) X" }and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

; `6 c4 Y) x# C3 a9 I" jBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you . S$ M+ e- D, g
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
! b! S& k8 [ p% jyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
/ h7 P2 c' }$ K! p2 u# O% E# OONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
, V0 k: k4 d+ U& J- M( Zyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece . U9 _/ p/ p7 F+ X
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
# t. ~/ S# |4 z; _Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic - e" L3 [' s, p6 B
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
( l0 I ]8 T( L1 a' ]# Pbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 0 n# {$ L6 p6 A+ s# [
two days of Orientation).
