买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

You can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:
9 N, f( P* v  @! b5 a$ I2 v•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
% ~: S' g1 m. q: S0 P; R; Y•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).' k9 y! v! V; ^2 e+ ]
So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

- @$ G" V3 s7 O8 lA share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.

% P7 q. u# C  F2 i" L' I在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750.

1 K1 O7 R+ n* u' X* G, IThe claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.
