买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

; D1 B! c- o5 X1 s5 X" ^4 @2 zYou can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:% }) N4 t* L% q0 ?+ J/ q
•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
0 `: ~1 R+ t& n4 B•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).. C9 P+ K& a3 E* c! f* ~" V
So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750.
