You may give them your love but not your thoughts,

You may house their bodies but not their souls,

You may strive to be like them,

You are the bows from which your children

The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite,. [% a8 J/ t: o. \( J
and He bends you with His might
! N# E* @! _) ^9 j# p# y! G- jthat His arrows may go swift and far.$ l; X4 n: Y# X. e
Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness;) K' j- ]2 T+ Q6 `
For even as He loves the arrow that flies,2 k. l% r" G2 x
so He loves also the bow that is stable. |
