Are you an immigrant woman who:

1 b& q/ e3 G- C, a( D3 ^( w: K-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
' ^! x4 [' c$ S! e# Z: j+ a% _-  has taken an English language assessment test?
-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

If the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

* J- V8 a, H9 m. rMAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

THE COURSE OFFERS:

5 b4 R# i! m7 D% i) q5 J•        Counseling to help you find what is right for you.
% ~" L3 e* M+ {; }& W$ v! s0 Q! i; L•        Opportunity to develop your English Language skills.
! B( H. {7 G# `, z9 S•        Opportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
# H3 O$ Z/ v: Z7 p( w  K1 d•        Information about community agencies and services.
•        Information about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
•        Continued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.
