This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible).& {9 a# Y M6 N. M
When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic" P9 V6 [8 f6 E' r- v" G" I2 ^
condition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and& Q4 M+ R) T* ]; y! T/ c
• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or: u! X" q6 D6 Y
• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy.- |& d: f' T& z8 o; }3 M8 C
If “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
