Newcomers are being offered some help when shopping for a home in Edmonton’s tight housing market.
0 p' f$ q1 U2 M- y- x7 PImmigrant women and their families can now access a “household toolkit” crafted by a local service group for new immigrant families, through real estate agents. + Y1 [$ U% l4 i
( E- {0 B: e; W% SIn the tool kit are 75 common hand tools – like a hammer and screwdriver – as well a book on how to buy a home, a home maintenance schedule and other items.

The program was announced by a group called Changing Together… A Centre for Immigrant Women. ( P1 g. N3 d( }0 ?
