I believe there must be creatures like ourselves

Builders of canoes,

Risk takers,
  k- h, E4 m4 PMy mind is full of curiosity and wonder
As I think of what could be.
The world is so big to me

I looked up at the star and smiled
9 m. S8 M- w% p* T1 i* r/ {They flashed as they have heard all I have read.

Legs in a bonfire,
$ p0 D: W3 a' }1 S# IHead in the sky
! t1 v) w& K% r+ z9 vLonely, with the feel of betray
Heart empty and hollow
2 O5 O! [- B8 P; pAlone I stand
2 u1 e9 q& N* |I am useless to all
+ T% R+ ?: A3 f% g9 q. z6 OBut I wish I were a dove
Giving myself to the world, to the fire
. G! n6 L& ?- E5 l  UI feel like burning myself in to dust and fly with the wind
% h( G' O( ~0 O# Z0 SI sent prayers to my god
Though he does not answer
