: O1 W; u% Q7 g6 ?EDMONTON — The West Edmonton Mall has reopened after police investigated a suspicious package Tuesday morning.

1 Z3 n5 f2 ~9 N' n" KThe item, which turned out to be a DVD player, was reported to police just after 8:30 a.m. and officers swooped in to shut down entrances to the shopping centre.$ T& o! K, Z& }0 [6 I! Z

Police evacuated the mall, and a short time later determined the package was merely a DVD player left on a bench outside the SportCheck store.: q* ]4 r$ k6 ?' \, d8 ^5 f# c3 a
