- N7 c" B1 R: \+ M9 {+ G5 ~% IEDMONTON — The West Edmonton Mall has reopened after police investigated a suspicious package Tuesday morning.
% E- h# G9 D8 E+ o* l
$ J+ R5 \ F7 |% p5 d/ `% E" }The item, which turned out to be a DVD player, was reported to police just after 8:30 a.m. and officers swooped in to shut down entrances to the shopping centre., a# T1 e2 M+ G4 G# V3 W8 U

Police evacuated the mall, and a short time later determined the package was merely a DVD player left on a bench outside the SportCheck store.
