EDMONTON - One person is dead after a vehicle crashed early Friday into the South Edmonton Common Walmart.

, z+ E1 D! a! S/ K$ }' F3 q! R& rPolice and fire crews responded to the crash at the at 1203 Parsons Road, just after 2 a.m. Police said the vehicle struck the wall of the Walmart garden centre.- f$ ?5 L6 N3 H) D. J: a% e) ]7 k

The fire was quickly under control, but the heat set off the sprinklers inside the store, forcing the night staff to flee.
