American Grassfed

This label means that a third-party has verified the claim that, afterweaning, animals eat nothing but grass and forage for their lifetimes and havecontinuous access to a pasture. They are never fed grain. No growth hormoneshave been administered, and if the animal becomes ill and takes antibiotics, itis removed from the program

This label means that farmers, veterinarians, researchers, andscientists have collaborated to create the "most stringent" welfarestandards for animals (as identified by the World Society for the Protection ofAnimals). This third-party verified label means that animals are raisedhumanely, outside on true family farms, and on pasture or range

Non-GMO Project Verified

The Non-GMO Project's label verifies that products have been produced to avoid genetically modifiedorganisms (GMO) ingredients. The Project's current threshold for testing is0.9%, which is equivalent to the standards of the European Union. This does not guarantee a100% GMO-free product, but it does mean the highest standards possible have been used to test,trace, and segregate ingredients to ensure they are non-GMO

This label signifies that a third party has verified pesticide use isreduced, and no hormones, artificial flavors, colors, nor preservatives,non-therapeutic antibiotics, nor GMO crops of livestock have been used. Farmersand ranchers must provide fair and safe working conditions, ensure humane care of animals, and protect soil, water, and wildlife habitat in the production of food
