POSITION: Junior Accountant

DUTIES:5 a" J( {$ l1 a- w
4 _) r: [+ J! } r1 F0 r• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.7 j; B R7 L" j
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.+ L1 o2 }& E) b _' _; `2 R2 F
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible

REQUIREMENTS:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study, R# g/ u2 r" e5 w9 g- f! c$ h
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
! d7 f$ I1 R0 ~) |• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers3 k- J: l$ y4 `/ h3 H: _
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry) \1 b6 m r! V0 h
