We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

POSITION: Junior Accountant1 {( T a. j& u2 w; f# @

$ |/ {1 I% F3 Z5 ~5 ]• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
( G+ P% k; E8 z" w* ~' |4 f• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.$ C \- Q. a) c% W5 t8 W
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible g+ v* D! l) L6 V- s0 \' j
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required. ]9 @) L" J! }$ n& J- K% z# g

REQUIREMENTS:
' a6 Z5 u r/ v# K# J4 f6 Z9 J$ r& \5 g% G' p4 s/ e/ \
• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role( z; t8 Q, ?9 E. I
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study5 C( P" i1 H( G9 h
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
! o5 @: Q! c% l* ^$ O' B• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers4 x3 A S8 w5 i$ f; }- r
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)( Y+ ]+ j% s- N! L5 N: C
