POSITION: Junior Accountant

; s& k( V+ D1 s8 I• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
; |4 D4 r0 a+ a9 e# J- A• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.
2 J3 S; k0 m2 O0 H, O! q• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible
$ x; a0 Q- I$ p3 A• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

6 F$ d C( y' q9 l8 l' Y- T: X+ y• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role3 f' U- t! s7 c) R/ |$ l
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study& P: M& k: Q2 U5 b
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
: \9 p/ X: T! ^6 s• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
# w" e; Z* [1 G% e% l8 s• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)$ T8 R9 U, o) J
