We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

DUTIES:

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
8 k8 _0 J. o9 y3 c, Y• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.
7 z' R+ P* F2 ^6 n3 I• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible
. ? T) b' ]; v) }- Y/ D% I• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

. p! B: G1 p$ G9 O, U8 ^• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
9 |$ z/ j- K& x% p; i8 w• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
, Z% G. x5 S8 _0 a• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills, D' f2 ` `) x( h. g
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers! l' j" y4 i% E' ? a' k, k: Q
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
