No one was injured after a brush fire tore through a section of Edmonton's river valley on Friday night.
4 O4 X: {4 c7 p8 a8 U4 B' }The fire started around 11 p.m. near the Wolf Willow and Rio Terrace neighbourhoods in the west end of the city.  
& \$ d5 m: F1 I# f/ S  I  p4 ^Edmonton Fire Rescue spokeswoman Sarah Meffen said 17 fire trucks were called to fight the fire. It was declared under control at 1:20 a.m., and was officially out at 3:20 a.m.
The fire covered a large area of the ravine, Meffen said, but none of the nearby homes were evacuated.
