! e# o* S# V: q! q) E$ \  fModify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
7 T# f* |# D: E$ _# fEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
" G  L4 h! Y& P1 D* jArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
; R4 q1 X& @# ARecruit and manage kitchen staff
Rectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
7 {0 q9 U  T" PPerform administrative duties
9 H8 C1 [% g2 F. ?Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks
Communication and leadership skills

& s2 B; J! |8 E/ c7 z! NWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
