We are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
7 |3 I7 \+ _# P# r$ Z. r) g• Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.) 8 D$ p$ f2 u9 C9 K6 A
• Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
c6 H' X! l' @% z- @• Prepare financial statements
$ x B( N3 X L4 s" d• Prepare corporate tax returns ( z0 \! i9 G1 m) W2 {3 M, I9 n( @! Q
• File GST returns 6 E) z) N, M- A8 @# N) b
• Process payroll
& r6 W- q) ]/ s• File T4/T5 returns 1 o [* V/ z9 Q/ \* s
• Prepare personal tax returns 8 m* `# J& x3 H* Z! v
• Communication with our clients and government agencies

8 P& i$ ~; l9 W/ S# T) IThe position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel. , k, q0 t6 ^. }6 c
; ~& J* P7 e. B5 ]3 G# J& i4 S8 jConsideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.3 e! Q& @1 v8 s
