Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

) h( q8 L* a% ~9 i# ]9 qWe are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
7 N0 B3 u0 }* a  i0 {•        Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
. d. O6 I1 Z) o' K•        Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
•        Prepare financial statements
9 U+ Y6 q" w0 j* ~" c: s# p4 N* c1 e•        Prepare corporate tax returns
2 U5 s( h# c% ]4 S' o: L•        File GST returns
6 W' R' q. z1 `6 p8 Y' W+ ]•        Process payroll
•        File T4/T5 returns
•        Prepare personal tax returns
•        Communication with our clients and government agencies

The position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel.

/ r' S4 m: S% F* a7 |. C6 eConsideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.

. X1 x, J7 S* e我不是找工作的，自己有想过读书读这个专业，只是想了解一下这行。

0 i, C  h1 i. b$ `: M* B. q不要读这个专业，除非你有背景或者以后会接手/经营自己的business
( B" h& a4 O9 G) w, V9 z
; R( ~5 Q  x/ v) c. c: z! Z这个专业的新手一捞一大把，供大大高于求，但是这个专业到了中级就比较容易了，缺点是薪水太低，一直到了高级或者是designated就不同了，供小于求，在招工的网站，大部分要求designation的工作都要放好久才被拿下来，这个门槛卡住好多好多人。。。。
