Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

After 5 years’ development, we are expanding our operation with the acquisition of new office location. We are a firm that provide flexibility and work-life balance. We are a paperless office and believe a technology lead to high quality and outstanding service for our clients.
We are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
2 h* Q. s$ i# K3 q% o, Q•        Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
•        Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
& J. N6 ]& P* n# O  `•        Prepare financial statements
4 K) B6 e3 |' @9 H•        Prepare corporate tax returns
! P  j& T" r3 T% C•        File GST returns
! U, t8 \4 a7 F# T•        Process payroll
" X' }( C! G* U( P•        File T4/T5 returns
•        Prepare personal tax returns
) J2 }" g9 G2 x: I/ u1 m•        Communication with our clients and government agencies

7 W) w! i: ?5 e4 n; T2 H5 {The position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel.

' e% v; V3 z; d: a/ [Consideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.

我不是找工作的，自己有想过读书读这个专业，只是想了解一下这行。

0 H9 [2 V+ g! T5 ^不要读这个专业，除非你有背景或者以后会接手/经营自己的business

这个专业的新手一捞一大把，供大大高于求，但是这个专业到了中级就比较容易了，缺点是薪水太低，一直到了高级或者是designated就不同了，供小于求，在招工的网站，大部分要求designation的工作都要放好久才被拿下来，这个门槛卡住好多好多人。。。。
