Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
! m" {. ]  n5 z0 \9 F& R4 X- Supervise kitchen staff
1 R, Z" n3 |: e9 ]$ b3 S# R( q- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
/ H# ~2 [. d1 n% N- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
7 E& b" ]: C- {- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.

Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.

Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
