LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
% r' z9 k6 r8 @9 ?" h& u4 k   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
7 N. t5 o1 {& ~5 ~; i   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
0 `; y. n4 o$ {% _+ e   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
- M% z* f; b; B$ D# Y   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
6 j+ C2 k' i' U+ }   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
1 _; _  @4 |, X( g% _. ^, q   o Linux based operating systems
9 _' J+ d/ U, L6 v% `1 a   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.

• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
8 ]* c* C% ^# ^7 Z" p: dplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
. _% x9 l$ n6 I' R, G" L5 n, h+ s• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

5 R! r* [4 \& i% W6 VSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
6 v8 r1 Y7 j) t0 ~( s• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
( t1 d/ G7 o, e5 }• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
  X0 N8 G: k3 f, {+ |$ |# ?% V' u   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
* |7 g/ y1 X. y   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
# ^/ K+ j) k' [( ?   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
+ B; \* C$ t. y9 B   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)

/ U" D; i& N3 C- s$ k5 s# C• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
8 q' H. \- E+ u( K  b; `5 i• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

5 V* v: J: I% N2 Y3 F' f. b• Have led medium to large sized projects
