- w# S4 P' D* }4 tSALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
% X: W- q  v( H* V0 K) m   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
, t4 E2 R. w  ^9 Z' w6 x8 R   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
* B" w% U5 |: q/ ]   o Microsoft Operations Manager
9 d4 {$ Z7 T4 G. r   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
$ o  H: U, r% ~5 v( t* {9 _' [   o Sun Solaris operating systems
, n! ^6 k* I0 s   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
+ Q0 ~/ n1 N% ^/ n0 j; g• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
9 B( I* s0 c& n) z5 ~: t• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
: \1 E+ l( R( ~/ }  P2 o• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

• Excellent written and verbal skills

) s! h. B7 F2 Z% c( j+ l( A6 [4 j• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
* V  V8 e4 q" Z( L! r  h" u4 v• Certification should include some or all of the following:
* m- b" j! E8 `   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
/ x9 E* E, k/ h4 F/ k4 z   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
% q6 ~+ R3 |! y% Z3 q2 h   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus

• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
6 t- n& g8 M0 h* V8 E: x• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
( {* V/ d2 L' v# q2 p7 W+ a• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
