POSITION HOURS: 8AM – 5PM

LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003

! e. \# y7 l7 z( G8 ]   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
" O, h/ @0 z% w: l, v   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
$ N2 P. \, l# r* x; N6 j# Z8 Y& M   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
4 R( {7 f9 h- w1 @platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

+ r& w" U$ K, u" i9 E5 {# F6 f• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
8 ~2 s& ^, O! ~+ \; ]• Excellent written and verbal skills
$ j3 P" x8 X8 d• Ability to work in a team environment
& d$ r/ G/ D: p8 t; x. O$ s6 z• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
3 u) k# v- {6 q* `- {   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
4 V7 y4 k( ~, R   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
) t. j4 u; G. S$ P   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
; n9 T8 g. }2 X4 I   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)

• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
: F. d$ t6 E. D, U$ Y- P! w• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
9 i- H2 _6 a$ E• Have 4+ years of network design experience

• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
