In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

) u+ \) L( {7 R) F8 \8 X0 YLead the organization towards the excellence in resident care and quality of life for Seniors
9 d& ^; n! J% K! KAdhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
Achieve and maintain accreditation standards
Engage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
) H3 o$ T1 i. _+ x0 c' bBe accountable for decision and actions
$ Q/ _) `- q7 q9 g/ X8 V2 zMitigate risk to the organization.
Education:

! Q" u7 F7 N9 A( C, BA minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
* J7 @7 b, ^& y& \Experience:

* g+ j6 r! b; R: }( x2 }Demonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
Public speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
& D2 q# j* K- u& h' `. ]& ySenior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.
Professional:
% d1 l+ @8 Y) z" x) \# h
Current or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).
' |( Y4 G1 J# G: Q) o' S
Current or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
Maintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the
Center objectives.

Security Clearance :

Must have clear criminal record
