! B* |/ O: D$ i i# F; |# pAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
8 O% V3 B% s$ g2 |* D( |- B- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 7 y3 L9 g9 h: o9 u
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. * {* c: [% K. U
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 3 b9 T/ Y# s- T0 j- ~( U
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. + _) ~: [3 L- r) E$ P
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Strong leadership skills & F. h# t0 Q8 e+ E
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
" o, G9 s! `0 q$ @- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
4 \( y( Z+ O" o- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations 0 P2 [/ g; a o1 W2 N
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
