As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

, B- l: V. t7 ^1 l2 f/ l- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. : N& @9 w9 z: r6 e+ H# L1 D# K; c
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
& l/ Z w3 O1 H- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. , I# c' z8 s( `; Y1 ?' @
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. ' d2 l% e* m8 Y
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. 8 @8 {, d1 G: J1 b
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

' J, G/ g# M, _* B- Previous supervisory experience

- U$ i/ n# J0 ]7 X$ K/ g- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
+ z: e( D/ w% J' |' O' U- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
" p. N6 ?% Z! }' f. G- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations . g- R5 v1 G3 e# l9 S( \" C' z
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
