As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:. ^/ n- _8 Q4 V. k" z: X
) E0 d( H. L: G3 n9 W
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
) v$ R+ K: d' F; N- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
# d$ o/ C0 h3 h+ q8 A- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 4 O7 c' n# E* O
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 4 `4 N* @/ V& ]) A$ w
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
$ w- Q6 u+ i3 U$ R2 V7 s$ n) ^- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). 9 @4 ~! z; [% q9 U$ t# c
- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements }9 z# f2 z& t7 T
4 \3 [. c+ X' O- Previous supervisory experience ! |# Y/ r- l% I |2 N0 F2 Q
- Strong leadership skills * O, l( o; \$ y; s5 x. a. X% R! `, b% z
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 3 }* W' O4 y7 y5 ^ `1 h2 L
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
a) {8 K9 O9 H! w0 V$ \0 |- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
