: I# q# U! I+ ~- E! |5 jAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:( [& V, J+ K) @" @" G) b
, \. X; |& e# O) Q4 S- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
' r9 J5 ?! z) y" I- @5 [& O: |- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
# z+ n, I1 n. E5 P5 M) G- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
& C6 U1 c+ F3 @; Z# y+ f- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
& j( G& }+ E1 C* p& B- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
, Z: Q1 D5 j M% ^( s/ I* ~- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). 1 Z7 S; f U; N! L! M7 l

Experience and Education Requirements- M& E9 ]: L) ]5 q' ?" V- v

- Previous supervisory experience
: y2 R( `+ }1 P- ^# d- Strong leadership skills 8 c" W: F: c4 p1 b% T: Q2 E8 }
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
+ I* Q! |; Z& m' ?- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills % o( [; X5 w2 Z8 L |9 q: L
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
' _, O: ?" J6 M* Z, E# B) E: D- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.6 T, l" q( J s8 {5 G |
