As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
0 p* q1 K- @" p& } s9 {( W( f- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. * P0 z! f: F2 a7 I2 l
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
" C x/ l& @ o0 s- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. ) D2 r, D/ C8 f' O1 W3 X
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. / K5 x8 Y/ U0 D5 R
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). + q& m" N! A: G; g D
- Managing shift expense budgets. * J# d2 _9 d6 s9 R! _ |

Experience and Education Requirements
! F. p/ A4 ?/ E' d
$ k# F& p! w* y& Q4 W' c# F- Previous supervisory experience
# c; e$ F7 N+ @4 c- Strong leadership skills
" D2 H# \! r9 E% l- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
# S4 n Z1 _. e* X* \ [' e- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 2 N* C8 R' j+ J7 M6 @9 t
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
" B4 ?; C; X& m O5 M- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques. u! ^( X- \3 G! @3 [3 R* e( A
