As you may have heard, a new federal carbon tax will be introduced in Alberta on January 1, 2020. The tax is part of the Canadian government's comprehensive climate action plan to help lower carbon emissions.

You'll see a new line item under your gas distribution charges as soon as your bill starts to register January’s usage.8 u' r a2 Q; G6 C7 t, Y
