- I) D/ _: @9 J4 l) D+ @This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
2 w4 |/ U7 H/ T. r* |-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
/ }% E  v0 B! p3 b' S- P7 K9 C-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
& z+ ]1 e% e- s-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
7 o4 i, d% q& w9 _& _$ M$ _
Requirements:
( p* e; D- z( i8 O4 S- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
) K  [$ V" L' n- Friendly and outgoing personality
+ H5 T6 Q! F& k* L- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
/ l, p, k5 U5 U) a  q- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
