This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
; R, _$ [% j  w" L- g-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
$ `- w& \. T" d-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
6 N) d1 u1 |# Z8 Y# ~( U2 `1 l3 a5 u-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
; l4 V* r6 @9 K6 Z6 P
Requirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
2 _) L' ]% ~  H- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
: J2 h& C% T) K+ ~8 o; a1 A- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
2 k# _; n* I# `( D- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
