This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
3 d5 ~% ?; ], m: @2 n' Q8 E  a-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
  J6 P4 p6 m& _) b3 x+ D-        Building and managing supplier relationships
4 T: c7 N' g* T9 `8 |  r-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
- Sound research skills
4 Q) j+ }1 P$ Y* y. k0 q, D- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
5 O, }5 }/ T9 R3 Q7 `- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
! w2 A" W2 @8 e2 Q) c* r! C- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
. }2 ^, j( d/ F; h- \3 b8 _* Y- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
