% p  w3 y1 o. G+ M! sThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

. B, z$ A, |% p; dThe procurement officer is responsible for:
9 u3 b" t2 S7 Y7 U% X' O-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
( F' y1 H; J' ^-        Building and managing supplier relationships
7 @0 M% }5 I4 |) a7 |7 q-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

& _: o5 h0 M' Q7 a0 ?Requirements:
) w6 j5 I. }, _; l- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
