EDMONTON -- Alberta's chief medical officer of health revealed who is eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine in the next phase of vaccinations as Phase 2A began on Monday.

Chronic heart, kidney, liver, neurological and respiratory diseases;% y( R& y+ q @- q# N3 F

Diabetes that requires insulin or other medicines;

Severe mental illness or substance abuse disorder that required hospitalization in the past year;% j+ \9 {2 H9 ~+ o! v
Severe obesity;
& k+ K( J4 m% O Severe learning disabilities or severe developmental delay; and& J( X f+ p' S
Solid organ, bone marrow or stem cell transplant recipients.
