CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
7 S/ v0 ?' L' ]; B. j9 Q: S•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
9 M' K! r7 A. n' e( Q•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
3 S! x* y, H! h8 b•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
+ g- V4 Z4 W: N2 b$ g•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:
8 u4 B1 J. u5 ]8 e
7 D2 w+ e$ L2 K, f' m0 {•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
) p+ X( l2 Q7 s•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
