CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
3 W! V" T  b$ i; t' N& F•        Manage all accounting transactions
. Q7 Y' S7 i2 p* X8 [6 N•        Publish financial statements in time
•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
' y4 P; r1 C$ X* }& k) Q+ o•        Ensure timely bank payments
- l5 ]! v# ~. t5 G, I•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
' G) T6 s0 g9 ^  @•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
' {4 l  u0 G0 }# q# E•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
' O; @' m; I% |% Z6 q•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:

- w) D9 m  [' O/ Z. h2 \4 }. H•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
: C0 Z1 S8 L, \9 o4 K( F' d$ [•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
- w3 y) H  e) Q•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
  k) u5 _! U& `$ M* R•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
+ F- O9 B: F* Q' \5 h9 H: b•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
: p" ^2 q- h! X. Z% N) r•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
