CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
•        Manage all accounting transactions
: g& x# E3 r5 H/ K% K( m•        Publish financial statements in time
•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
" W( A* a& v& E3 \8 z$ L5 I2 d7 u•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
7 u9 y% {) e. C- F1 a2 l- ~9 P•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
% h! m8 ~3 `7 v. b•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
/ @- g1 b! T6 [•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:
/ T' u0 N! B  {; s! D5 K1 R
5 s( o; H3 y. E8 Y+ x4 B- X•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
: j! }( s! N4 o+ q. p8 M, o•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
8 n+ n/ l6 d. g3 g•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
