CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

: X) _6 o8 v! G! g+ LResponsibilities:
•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
/ {: s1 w/ d/ w) B; G! j( n•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
3 ^9 @& x: P- p2 t9 I•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
& s6 H( S7 V$ o•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
2 p4 L$ A" ^$ y3 `8 l•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

& A' c: w! j) o& U# q  B$ j  cAccountant Requirements:
5 u: ?4 x5 _# z" R; y  A
4 x; D5 T* I. k•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
0 r* W  k1 T: ?# N: j; {•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
9 F; A/ P& [( Y9 L  C. f•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
! g6 c8 c: a, M( C$ ~4 O6 F. W5 Z4 f( W•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
0 w2 S$ j; y+ q5 X" g•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
