CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
•        Manage all accounting transactions
, ]3 t/ ]9 p; t6 r: d8 S8 k' L•        Publish financial statements in time
& g: N/ M5 j0 ]3 ]! @4 }•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
5 y  P* z; n: o% _•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
•        Ensure timely bank payments
0 T; ^: A# K+ @1 u•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:
4 l+ S1 a& m( M( J) h
•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
' K& @. r" D4 Y2 r3 n! W8 u•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
+ M( q# {- A' n5 u( g2 U6 N3 ?3 A•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
4 X% t4 B2 G6 e3 q1 u" v' K  o# O•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
