CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
•        Manage all accounting transactions
4 W7 I$ u) Y$ w1 i9 M8 y6 |5 Y•        Publish financial statements in time
•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
8 U* M+ g5 E, B- D) d; v! e& E% t# _•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
2 I& O. b# s' l! L. Z( t•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
, g: I: n7 T/ n6 x•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
, n* L% C& X- z' E•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
+ Z4 k- }2 k/ K9 F•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

  p6 x' l2 L9 Y& E1 K% IAccountant Requirements:
/ G( W* n9 x7 L9 F: Z
•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
9 w0 P7 g. |; L6 t) ~' y•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
3 P# P! X1 {, E/ W•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
4 K, A, E; n& S; B* O5 I•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4 r4 A! g! c, n•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
