CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
& l) K4 j  w. l' E•        Manage all accounting transactions
4 O8 ^8 u8 f& a  Q& Z& m•        Publish financial statements in time
( b, Y( _, }' \( q, [7 M1 W# [& y) X•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
•        Ensure timely bank payments
$ L, G+ i- V/ ?# A$ L8 w( a•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
; p# @# _! q; @+ l•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
: p4 V3 d1 c6 N) F& g; `' [9 Q* n•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
7 q2 p9 L% ]. q% L3 m6 S•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

4 r/ |& ^1 ]( h" ]: X% h3 H
•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
; [/ P$ q0 i% I•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
" M, o  P" E; r4 G9 Q& @•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
