CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

( w1 o6 K; j5 C9 q' z9 Z; }Responsibilities:
2 X3 B/ q# z  {, g•        Manage all accounting transactions
1 ^1 V2 A/ ^7 C; \2 v8 ~•        Publish financial statements in time
•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
) G- E0 p# R. Q3 f( s•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
! \7 `& o0 G% V2 `- h3 o% `, j•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:

! C* t6 Z9 `0 t5 J/ h. M: O( @•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
* U9 |7 L2 y4 J4 p7 P•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
8 n+ W' ?2 Y. Y% |) T6 _•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
7 k  _* Y3 o- d5 |# q•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
' e! J; P; L' X( N  L$ C+ v•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
