CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
•        Manage all accounting transactions
  C$ r6 c7 I  P7 @•        Publish financial statements in time
2 T, F7 t$ V# y  R6 n: P•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- h  G" I6 `+ D3 D" V, {•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
$ r8 s( Z# o1 o) m6 T" @•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:
0 o8 j6 K: \6 Y: s
9 s0 K( b% y+ c0 o* U- `•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
: y: S2 K; D" N! w•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
0 e9 G7 y8 f8 z9 @7 `•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
: Y& x- h5 q7 A! o•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
& n6 z* g% y) }7 P•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
, a$ m. l3 [4 P/ A•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
