CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
. Q3 S1 O1 @" i: J•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
/ R, s- ]4 S8 ^+ _* @8 Y  ?3 ~•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
9 V  M4 `3 ?5 u+ `5 L5 f0 k" F•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
•        Ensure timely bank payments
' ^" u* g% n1 Y+ t9 ]# ^•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
8 J$ ~8 [. |0 C& S7 G•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
6 o3 h8 m0 l- x/ `' R" {•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

8 ~$ N' d; [$ X& d3 T. _, CAccountant Requirements:

- C% V+ Z# m0 x•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
+ X- i3 m+ a! h1 |8 \- B* w•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
/ L% P; |" \9 x  m& f•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
3 t9 [! t) d8 u. o•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- C7 }$ n. L8 q•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
