CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
: H3 n2 U' ^: @: B•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
' w8 e, M) w/ t# B/ m+ L•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
; o$ L1 j8 Z8 d$ u; l( E•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
•        Ensure timely bank payments
8 \7 v0 |9 i7 v/ r3 o% I6 a•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
6 o2 p! ]: E! q/ z  T•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
3 R7 M. p; Y0 l2 D( ?% u•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

. `$ j" [5 _/ r1 G1 n9 s' t•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
0 P4 j4 j6 |& L% s2 \  }•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
- k2 E  j1 @1 J. F0 S8 ?( M•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
5 p8 A4 d" _5 n( w# O•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
0 O+ _" r$ N4 g( j. \•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.
