CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
9 b# m6 C% N  N•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
) g1 r& J/ D% m) I* C9 E, q0 S1 P' I•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
& M0 }/ t8 R; M  j' p7 K  L•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
" N9 _# c& A) @6 _0 P•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:

•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
; {# m! u- I; R/ Y: F•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
' l+ a( z4 Q' X# @$ o) H•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
! d( H) e; y0 N% f) |- P7 ~•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- @; R4 K2 R/ K& {, h4 l•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- b( M3 s; I* N1 C) P4 X# V7 J•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
