CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
# k! B5 m3 |, Z0 `: j  Q3 l" `4 c•        Manage all accounting transactions
: ]. M9 D' c  e. O, d# W/ i  F•        Publish financial statements in time
6 v) L- S4 l. t) m0 g2 i3 \; N4 y•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
•        Ensure timely bank payments
! w, {" Y& ]; w' s•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
4 b, V& Y4 @6 F4 U, H& ]•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
. y+ ^/ `0 j# @% R" Z  V; T•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

( {& i3 g! `" Z, |% g  l" cAccountant Requirements:

  j- \; r9 X5 m) I0 b•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
) g: L- w; X5 T# s! O& n•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
