CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
! W+ f3 B8 T2 N* E2 u5 L6 k7 Q' T•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
3 y8 {4 o( n: Y4 @0 Z•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
•        Ensure timely bank payments
& ?$ u' H# d5 Z, ]$ _  V•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
' c/ j- x8 m3 R8 h0 `•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
% ^/ f4 `4 d+ e0 w. S, t•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:
' l1 e/ L) G9 |; q4 q
1 A  T3 M; o  j5 P•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
0 s8 V' k( y) [5 @( E5 @•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
# z9 q% j; d3 ?+ m# E/ f' G, \$ s, i•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.
