CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

, J) S% I7 q. R6 x- fResponsibilities:
•        Manage all accounting transactions
5 }2 l* c. l; s2 P9 u- U•        Publish financial statements in time
% j' J3 y* ?/ z' X4 A& c) Y& y•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
) K$ o" j$ t/ j+ k: K2 `•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
4 x0 v4 u# T. n•        Ensure timely bank payments
; t9 ]. j0 [7 z$ W; [0 U6 t•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
( w4 P6 `. Y3 C" ^2 O6 e; a•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
" {! F( e1 s) {: y•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
  s/ @+ p- x/ L5 h•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:
7 ~7 S% ~: f" k  j2 z. s  o
; l0 W1 Z" ^5 _5 c# v' b, R•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
% t/ D5 h- i( g$ `& X7 c•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
, z* L; b/ O! o$ r3 y•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
% R: E0 v) S3 K$ Z! N+ k•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
5 i( A0 W3 K) ]" u0 U•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
, f- ~" I: s( Q* a; l% Y: G1 ~' T% w•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
