CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
6 d/ i( a# H6 T9 T•        Manage all accounting transactions
( Z& s: Z$ n( g) \- C; \' b1 o•        Publish financial statements in time
& j$ i+ u  J! R0 r, e) ~5 [•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
1 ]; j- l% g4 Z! T, m•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations

Accountant Requirements:

•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
* r6 o2 t9 d4 m) @4 B: z9 m•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
4 F% B! r5 w  R8 S+ p•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
2 Q, Y1 o& U5 T/ C0 c' P# ]: ~+ R•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
) M* p  @& ]% |6 S/ N; {•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
