CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open Accountant within our growing team.* \/ X* F7 g# |$ d B. V

Responsibilities:% J" {+ \; `/ q7 G8 r H$ ^
• Manage all accounting transactions x' w( ~/ p" }7 r
• Publish financial statements in time
3 m! l# @3 e6 a9 t7 X• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings A" X! M+ @3 K# |5 i
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
0 o4 [& @2 Z3 w- Q• Ensure timely bank payments
) E8 ?8 O' K; K. L• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements/ G. x7 n+ I! a3 Z9 y
• Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.9 J9 |' Q# Y0 S% A
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary* _- ^. L& x2 r1 @7 t% L. C" s
• Comply with financial policies and regulations6 I7 f- I4 G3 Q# a, v

Accountant Requirements:
# ]1 ~8 R b, Y0 Y; C7 p1 W3 D# T B' x$ W* u7 ^5 Z- P% V. p a6 Z
• bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
7 s; r }% u" R% I3 Y; f4 z• Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)2 N" a( U3 I; n) C8 f; C, }6 H0 Y
• 2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)5 }7 L$ t" W, D. p# Y/ {9 r; e# z
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.: w$ g v0 Z) E* ?: j+ D3 S
• Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.9 r) a. A* b# P* f" @" l( ~
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.% g0 H* s4 h$ c: m. b
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
$ d! J3 K1 w% k* f• Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset., e) c3 L+ \$ C- k3 t

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
