CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
1 V+ I' v7 s$ h# I6 \% p* G•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
4 E6 A' C: s$ u- a' @! g, p, \•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
0 Z$ C' o) z( M3 M- v9 @1 J•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
2 q9 i% F$ F* M. U•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
/ f% n  Z" k$ K- x7 [•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
( U7 ]5 q2 x, s$ B( k# y•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
( C" l# m* f  b: Y0 k& f•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:
3 C* ?- h3 v% l5 G9 C
1 [# V4 Z$ V+ H* W) T% A•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
( i+ A5 \6 T# ~2 T% ?•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
* m& s' ?# _) }* M- H+ n8 V  w0 S•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
