CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
4 i5 o% |3 E  ~! C, q. h•        Manage all accounting transactions
/ n1 L/ T' a$ g•        Publish financial statements in time
•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
+ R& u6 T0 w; Z5 E1 @•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
& F9 B4 d4 ^$ [1 E2 G•        Ensure timely bank payments
) ^) B6 t# T3 t6 m1 u7 _•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
1 a" k9 P# c/ b+ e% I; A, o•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
& E  S& U+ ^8 Z6 Z! l% J7 a4 ?•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:

•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
" N' r0 v; A+ z) L•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
6 t/ h) |7 e: [  E2 S  ]" ]•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
3 s# `+ u4 v5 b; ?. q. k•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.
