CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
•        Manage all accounting transactions
, U; W, N% G6 j" R5 A  J•        Publish financial statements in time
" y: Q2 T+ V) [- g- K- o•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
% y: G6 H( _) l( l6 X•        Ensure timely bank payments
/ W# n( D* i* j•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
4 Y' m1 P( K* @$ w  W•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
) A: F0 g8 C& M•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
" u0 K- q7 b8 D4 s& Y0 A•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

+ C; x+ g5 x6 |9 [5 l- wAccountant Requirements:

•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
2 C3 i& o4 l5 q. D" h: X2 {•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
" T" v; T' V# Q/ C•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
