CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
& p/ t1 k# y% s4 N; S•        Manage all accounting transactions
9 y5 R# R) x) B3 f" \# v! A% R( `" _•        Publish financial statements in time
) g& `" o& e% q/ a•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
! k" y7 }* V$ W4 Y•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  u+ d. I. M' s' r' J1 w, u•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
. u3 I( D" a3 f: H$ [& r•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:
" s" Q9 p8 ]1 e1 L0 v9 p
2 S8 T2 J' e& f& d/ M•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
# E3 p( [0 q3 s  G* E•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
( i, K* @/ U3 u. D/ a. a•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
4 f" k  J; O+ G  s•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
