CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
& L1 ~1 v' x. R% N, B! B•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
! J$ M" F" }: ], A' P•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
4 T  {7 f9 r- a•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
•        Ensure timely bank payments
5 q* j# @% Q$ r) B•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
& L+ z6 h- ~! l+ F3 l( ~) b•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
! `: o" w- C, y8 R- t8 B•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
/ O) H/ C$ b. ^•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
! m" _! `# V0 y/ d# j5 f7 \5 h•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:
/ ]6 x: g, f+ A
# ?, M/ r$ P% h2 x1 y! o•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
5 J  B% ?  C& m8 z% u- x2 q•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
