CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
9 x5 W# _" O7 L$ I6 i* D•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
•        Ensure timely bank payments
+ Q/ s2 t2 j, L•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
5 h  ?* i5 X  r" W9 \6 Y+ e0 n•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
# S% A/ r7 q- D3 G. H9 |1 ?9 _•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
$ m, S0 m+ P/ u•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
6 d- ~' `% U5 Z* ^& ]•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:

•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
) b. o. ~; J# j2 k) I•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
