CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
: Z" V! ~0 e( F" D' y4 ^•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
& M! m8 [' Q+ |5 z•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
% H9 g) q8 V% v- Y: M; B2 }•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
7 N/ I4 X$ A. X% w1 Q•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
( J  f4 N+ k9 o/ g8 x1 s9 z8 D+ w•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
2 H, v7 j$ n) N1 Y1 d  n" p" q3 I•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
$ i) m7 b! {# w- f! s# e) U•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:

1 Y( d# Q) m9 g; ~•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
" ~$ z! v5 l5 B3 E, `•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
5 l8 R7 M/ V- Y7 u& N7 S•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

$ g' v# ?4 d+ r6 f. B4 _/ LSalary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
