Average house prices have hit half a million dollars in southwest Edmonton and almost $400,000 across the Capital region.. f) N: z: y0 H3 ? B; t1 l9 z- i

“It is clear that housing prices have not yet peaked,” Carolyn Pratt, president of th Edmonton Real Estate Board said Wednesday, releasing the March sales figures from the Mutiple Listing Service.7 ^8 ]' G b- ~0 T. N/ P

Edmonton-area prices averaged $398,476 for single-family homes and $325,339 for all housing forms.

+ ^% h% s8 `# f; o7 J; HIn only the first three months of this year, average home prices have climbed 12.4 per cent, so Pratt has abandoned her earlier forecast of a 15 per cent increase for the full year.. x7 V5 c4 u+ K. c% E; t
