MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
/ P' i' v4 Q* h/ z6 _% s- XBrief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
( R7 F9 G6 ^8 ~( ^- K3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
4. Calibration of Equipment
5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices

6 g4 P& b: `" c0 v' F+ c* ?( h. zSkills and specifications:
# y) @' A% I/ X. ^9 R' l. P& {1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
: k7 Q5 B1 f4 q# X+ I4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
5. May need to work different hours
