CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

+ \, ~7 ?$ _. h· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

6 L4 Y- q4 f+ y& S! S· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

2 J9 D  z6 o6 S: L· Secure loads safely

; v( ~1 e- P4 s· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements

3 \! h5 y. G9 C! c· Minimum 3 years experience

. R$ n" `2 I. o, }. r- T· Valid Class 1 license

% M  T* u8 N  W· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
