CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

7 l2 H) _; J1 X+ p: V! X· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

; f2 @! w: D1 e' X4 f· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
- p& \# a, g4 K1 y! F/ E2 Y
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

9 ^, x/ V( ?$ \6 L. y. \  m· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

2 h0 x  |/ u% B$ I. c" u7 v" c· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

0 S9 v5 ^9 i5 S· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
- h. Q1 R- D% tQualifications and Training Requirements

' z, P+ `6 p8 z. _0 Q  B/ X. R· Minimum 3 years experience
4 E, ~* l4 F2 k3 M+ A2 }; F9 }
& F- I5 N: c3 k· Valid Class 1 license

2 m) d2 s( A0 f4 P- X! n) D; {· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

& A7 ^. _3 F" d/ d· Load securement certification
: X# D: s6 q# L+ _; q6 A
/ @/ ^/ ?2 b* E9 }· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

3 q  X7 }& u( T& {6 k; f# H9 @· Excellent organizational and time management skills

; E5 @  ^! u; }- o9 c% o· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

9 n4 }; B/ b$ W/ y5 [1 |· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

* }. U, I$ S  j8 h- O+ b· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
