Class 1 Driver Needed

CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

5 g5 B2 d" K# E9 X: m· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
% @3 \. w' Y8 j" `! k* E" U
· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

2 S: @" Q* D# C· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

, h5 M# Y6 h! N3 f0 w, M· Operate manual and automatic shifts
. ?, X" b7 f7 I9 V& ~% `8 h
· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements

3 L) s/ s1 ~6 I' a. o! z  S, Q· Minimum 3 years experience

3 p' e7 N9 {" d! Z· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract
6 ~4 `; @" Z! ]. u7 u- {# P
· Load securement certification

& N% u9 |0 B- Z6 K! J4 v  I* ~  `· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations
