CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

- H5 Z5 Y6 b3 N· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
% Y+ t& h3 N% b- p
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
- ]! @' ^* R/ d
0 ]$ J# U: g4 B) X* Q· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
; \8 ]# W- p' w
8 D% C2 b% ^0 Z2 V1 l· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
! f1 F3 n/ i9 d
5 J" c* ^2 x5 I· Operate manual and automatic shifts

% j% e2 N/ C' D7 o. |# S3 S· Secure loads safely

Qualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience
& \# i( q0 \7 T: i6 C
· Valid Class 1 license

& F; Z3 `) F" x  H· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

8 f! w0 q6 T. l. `' n8 I( Q2 r· Load securement certification

: J( k2 Q( M" r% r$ c· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills
. }: Z& w/ D3 }+ j  A+ a' ^
· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
