You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Research Data Centre (RDC) computer' E* G3 u# U0 Z9 G9 y$ e, \$ ]6 a
lab located on the University of Alberta campus as well as providing administrative support for the z6 S7 E( {4 H, p9 A' G: g8 e
centre.
" C8 Y! a/ r G O7 S8 D5 zThese responsibilities include:. G+ J" j3 a9 Y# m6 L# I( M, ^
-Maintain the integrity of the security systems in the RDC.
4 g X9 g5 ?, c-Provide basic support to clients on operating Window XP.* M" t+ W+ r2 t- W
-Provide general office administration support, such as filing, upgrading software and) G* W; P) x1 Q+ k- D+ n9 ~
renewing licenses, communicating with various university departments with respect to 7 b' _* y: R; u6 W7 u2 O: X; H6 i
facilities’ maintenance, etc.

-Successful completion of Bachelor degree in administration, business, computer sciences, 2 y* J. ^ p; N: O/ z' H
education, economics, sociology, statistics or related discipline; or an acceptable combination

Knowledge/Technical competencies:9 ? e- R* K0 W" d, d
-General knowledge of the Microsoft Window operating system.
' p. Z1 r9 S; J6 M1 I-Extensive experience in using Microsoft Window office application software including Word
& V% L) f: G& x) {* o5 n- mand Excel.
& \* K# w. M1 _3 I1 N" g% q4 D-Experience using and updating an information database. & c6 ?1 ^4 {7 s" @; C

-Experience in using MS Access.

-Experience in one of the Statistics software: SAS, SPSS or STATA
