The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
5 |" y$ v8 P7 P; d% E" f2 nInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials$ }0 { B4 E; W2 |
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material

Be able to effectively perform tasks independently, M" H# ]) W' [/ l: E8 j
Performs routine housekeeping.' P3 L" z, @* e
Observes and reports any safety issues9 I/ s, E6 f8 U1 I6 g& h% `
Other duties may be assigned

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting. v7 g6 x3 [2 l. |$ V0 o
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing9 n1 p& I1 k# y" A8 I
High school diploma (Or GED)
: N) w8 @' B6 }9 D0 x0 J- `6 [$ @Well-articulated and assertive: V0 o* W9 n2 q+ u
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization

Ability to write simple correspondence
