Job Summary:
3 s N6 }' x8 j) B/ ~6 M' y2 aThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting., u- D5 _8 v5 \

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials( J; W( q* v, _' Y# P5 o: C3 s
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
* C+ q- h8 N; yLoads and unloads non-ferrous material2 P7 C8 j! G3 p; \
Must be able to work safely at all times

Performs routine housekeeping.

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing0 M& p) b, _1 F( f4 W( k) N u
High school diploma (Or GED)0 d9 X0 Z& B# r0 Q. K
Well-articulated and assertive* s% k, w% g8 J7 w) C! o
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization& ~( j4 J" o& ?4 ~
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos }" O9 E3 n3 s7 ?8 F* R5 j
Ability to write simple correspondence
