( a( x9 k: ?# U' P9 P' x. E7 q5 gThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

2 N4 x: _4 ~2 s2 u, j2 pMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
% @8 F) ~' w+ u( aInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials, I- v& g- b1 N1 o6 u1 p
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
! E7 `& C4 V7 B$ U8 _! jMust be able to work safely at all times; x9 r: K" d# ?4 N1 k5 _- u
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
# ^7 `( Z" Q$ ]Performs routine housekeeping.
# A1 f$ N4 K2 P" [; P$ G9 oObserves and reports any safety issues# Q- h6 s6 {( H) [7 T
Other duties may be assigned

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

* l0 n. e2 P( U% t. t; F: qKnowledge of non-ferrous processing& S! z+ Y* P" ?+ p8 J
High school diploma (Or GED)- g) ~ S' Z4 L; G! e! H
Well-articulated and assertive
& v5 P% E: N& y t" ?% [Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization! ?- w: H- P) E' f' O( A
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos% t! { D! c# D/ d2 W3 [: ~5 T
Ability to write simple correspondence- J5 A6 b9 c5 Z9 `
Mechanically inclined an asset
