* q& g9 {, r6 X; n+ k8 _4 QSalary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

- H! r# C0 [. @/ F! ]+ l2 CDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
- O4 a& g2 e2 c8 D( Ltechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

. [7 E  H& Z  a: M5 ZQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
- ]" W' ?0 Z" H: L8 H7 V2 fChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
3 |. D, E/ l9 b* K/ A& G$ L- rof a team essential.
6 C3 ?8 [5 C9 SThis position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
* B8 z- t6 t$ d( pand chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
