Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30$ A# v9 w1 r% G$ s
- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for

* b9 Z, g: |# A' ^! `Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at4 S7 M5 a' U: Q! q2 f
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
5 i% k n' i+ O8 X# pvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,, j' F; {$ N- c8 Z
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
- A* [6 O. I: O! o* s: U6 S* Aparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and0 N6 S" A- l! t/ g1 k* F8 h1 Q2 u
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
& @; o4 f+ r/ C, e5 \: i/ Itheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,: m/ H+ y. T+ d. x; U' }
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
& v) w; I' E0 \7 g0 S4 \venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city1 @ z* c* `4 _3 S' i9 ^
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city" A$ v/ J+ B7 p& z: V3 `3 @& _
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night

functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents

presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
; I9 V- x1 I% T3 U- ]$ wCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
( F. z, |) u2 j) C$ cfluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,: ]. q! m- m' n' [, A& ]) c' {, \, o
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake3 m; s" J3 K+ i5 |
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
! ^7 z' E0 J6 Wof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
5 L, a- e- | s) h* Jskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,1 `4 k$ c6 e0 B$ m. l
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
( t5 R7 [3 u; D) Y! y1 m; t/ ]4 vexperience coordinating group activities an asset.
